BOPP Film Production Process....
Die Die is very main important part of the manufacturing process. Die give the proper shape to the cast film and deliver it to chill roll by passing though the air knife unit. Air knife unit apply air pressure across the width in such a order, so that cast film fully touch the surface of the chill roll without any air gap or bubble. The die unit is situated between extrusion and film casting unit. It casts melt from extrusion for further processing on the film casting unit. The die unit mainly consists of die frame, melt die support, melt die and adapter block. Film Casting Unit (CAS) The film casting unit is the first machine in the stretching line.The melt is pulled from the die, cooled, set and delivered as a cast film to the following machine, the machine direction orienter (MDO). The film casting unit includes: • chill roll • film pinning • cast film gauge (optional) • auxiliary winder (optional)
